All started off with “Red Bull The Art of Can”, i was having the time of not inspired days when Cindy came on MSN and started to chat and told me i should enter the competition and make one pinhole camera out of it, but it ended up me totally obsess and intrigue when she pass me a very interesting and full of information on how to build paper camera.

It was a great journey of understanding how this little tiny hole can be able to capture images, and it gives me even more thrill after i manage to build up my very own first paper made pinhole camera. I did some documentation (the duration i expose on each pic) on my first roll, thou i did some mistake in winding and wasted much film but i learn something in the progress.

Thru out the progress of shooting i started to add on some props, little screw driver as my winder, the scotch tape dispenser as my tripod (best tripod ever), a tiny hand written manual as my exposure guide…. and my super old baby-g watch to mark my timing… and more duck tape…

This is the second case i did for the “zumi” i have not taken any pic for the original case as i tot that i can shoot that any time as i wish, but as for this i rush it up in the middle of the night 1 day before his birthday…. heheheh
Specially made it for Ndroo for his 39th birthday, it wasn’t my idea to make a coffin shape.. it was his idea, all i did is to execute it, but i was thinking twice whether to give a coffin on a birthday…. Chinese usually very “pantang” but i tried to get some hint before i pass it to him tonight… glad he love it and im just as thrill waiting for his respond on the “special birthday pressie”

Those who own a piece of Golden Half might have the same problem if u do not use it often or may have exposed it to heat, the rubber surface of the golden half tend to get sticky and “glueiiiiieeee” … this GH is actually owned by Cindy.

It took me quite some time to fix this almost going to the trash camera to a brand new limited edition “Queen’s version”

In order to remove the surface you will need the glass cleaner and a hard card to scrap of as many surface as possible before using a nail remover to remove them completely. For the back of the camera you will notice those font and it will tend to be a bit difficult hence i used a metal scrub. And of course not to forget to remove and dismantle as many parts as possible for easy spraying.
